EVALUATIONS:

Evaluations include a client history form, client and caregiver interview, observations, and standardized test(s) that may assess the following as needed:

• Aphasia
• Articulation
• Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC)
• Cognitive-Communication & Executive Functioning
• Expressive & Receptive Language
• Social Communication
• Written Language

THERAPY & COACHING:

All speech therapy services are tailored to each unique client and their family's wants, needs, interests, and experiences. Speech therapy services are provided in-home or virtually via teletherapy.

Serving clients in the comfort of their own home and via teletherapy allows for convenience and optimal rehabilitative success as we work on therapeutic strategies and techniques right where they are most needed!

Specialty Services:

We have a special interest in treating communication difficulties related to Cognitive-Communication/Executive Functioning and Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC).

We often work with clients who have neurological diagnoses such as Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Concussion, Stroke, ADHD, and Autistic Disorder (ASD).

We also work with high school and college students who need additional help in planning their schedules, efficiently completing homework assignments, organization for studying or daily routines, and succeeding in school on a social-emotional level, too.

While these are our specialties, we provide therapy services for all clients needing help in the following areas regardless of related diagnoses:

Family Coaching:

Here at Individualized Therapy Solutions, we know how difficult it can be to understand new diagnoses, and how challenging it is to use strategies learned in therapy in the home environment - especially if services are not provided in the home environment.

We are an experienced resource for families who have loved ones with communication difficulties. We not only help people with communication and thinking difficulties via speech-language therapy, but we also help their families:

• Understand new diagnoses & the impacts of cognitive and/or communication difficulties on daily activities

• Alter their home environment to make it optimal for communication with their loved one, and

• Carry over strategies learned in therapy to the home environment so that families can most easily and successfully communicate with their loved one

We offer in-home and online services so that families and caregivers can use our strategies, techniques, and activities where they are needed most – right at home.
